There are many different types of skin infections, one of which is, cellulitis. You may first notice cellulitis as a small area on your skin that is tender and red.
There are two types of impetigo, non-bullous and bullous. The more common type is the non-bullous impetigo.
Having a common cold does not cause a cold sore; the herpes simplex virus causes it. They are very contagious. Some people call them fever blisters.
Cellulitis is a skin infection that is spreading. The symptoms of cellulitis are skin that is tender, involves swelling and redness of the skin.
There are four different types of skin infections bacterial, fungal, viral and parasitic. Bacterial infections include cellulitis, folliculitis, boils and carbuncles, staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome and other minor bacterial skin infections.
